Asia Pacific stock markets closed lower on Friday, July 20, 2012, as majority of the investors went into risk aversion mode, and pressed sell button after raft of weak US economic data stoked uncertainties about global growth. Investors' appetite for risk also curbed amidst lingering euro zone debts concerns and after China said it would continue to maintain curbs on its property market.
